No — Herbanerve brings calm and focus without sedation. The horse stays sharp and willing to work. It is not a sedative.

Magnesium and tryptophan are permitted, but valerian is on the FEI prohibited list. For FEI competitions we recommend stopping at least 5–7 days beforehand. Always check current regulations.

The magnesium effect builds over 1–2 weeks. Tryptophan and herbs act faster (within hours). For event use: start 3 days before.

Yes — particularly useful when starting young horses that find the world overwhelming. Reduce the dose accordingly.

Magnesium is safe, but valerian is not recommended during pregnancy. Consult your veterinarian.
